SIB (Skisser i bevegelse / Sketches in Movement ) is facilitating for an artistic meeting with choreographer and dance researcher Diego Marín at the Motion capture lab at RITMO Centre.
Diego will be sharing insights from his artistic practice at the intersection of dance, motion capture and artificial intelligence where he explores the relationship between embodied experience, digital motion and choreographic creation.
Through examples and reflections from his work, Diego will introduce the artistic questions and choreographic decisions that guide his engagement with movement technologies. As part of his ongoing research, the session opens a conversation about the place of technology in dance-making, with space to share experiences, curiosities and ideas from different movement practices.
